The Digital Trade Marketing Manager has the primary responsibility for developing, recommending, implementing and driving digital trade marketing strategies and programs. This role is responsible for digital trade marketing strategy and tactics for both Brick and Mortar and E-commerce retailers. Responsible for creating best in class shopper focused activations, grounded in consumer insights that align to national brand strategies and leverage disruptive thinking and analytics to develop insight driven digital / shopper marketing programs which drive channel category growth and amplify the brand message at retail.
Typical responsibilities of the Digital Trade Marketing Manager include: develop in depth understanding of the candy shopper’s path to purchase. Translate data and insight into retailer-specific recommendations that drive sales. Determine the appropriate mix of tactics using in-store, digital media to intercept the shopper's path to purchase. Advances key shopper marketing capabilities such as messaging, in-store media, being in touch with emerging marketing techniques and tools like online coupons.
Provide continuous analysis and generate insights for ongoing improvements of digital trade sales. Establish metrics, develop reporting and provide ongoing analysis of program results. Facilitate timely and effective execution of digital/shopper marketing programs. Develop strong working relationships with external teams, including brokers and retailer digital/shopper marketing counterparts.
