Spangler Candy World, a new destination in 2023 located on the east side of the downtown square in Bryan, Ohio.
Spangler Candy is a family-owned private company founded in 1906. Our well-known and loved brands include Dum Dums®, Saf-T-Pops®, Spangler® Candy Canes, Spangler Circus Peanuts, Necco® Wafers, Sweethearts®, Canada® Mints and Bit-O-Honey®.
Primary responsibilities include: Oversee and manage all aspects of the daily operations of the Spangler Candy World store museum and virtual tours. Train and supervise Spangler Candy World Associates on store operations, product knowledge and customer service standards and expectations. Assist customers with product selections and schedule virtual tours. Design merchandising displays to achieve sales objectives. Manage store recordkeeping, including bank deposits, accounts payable, budgeting, sales tax, and prepare financial reports. Maintain and review a customer satisfaction rating system, managing the maintenance and cleanliness of the store, and curating the museum (evaluate potential new historic and main museum pieces). Responsible for inventory management including purchasing inventory, year-end inventory count and audit. Manage advertising, maintain an active web and social media presence. Tag and price all new product and organize storage room.
